Many of you guys are complaining about the exprate and some suggested of Gigit adding a command - @exprate to change your exp rate from 1-12 if you would like a more challenging game. Please vote yes / no on this topic and answer why or why not? Thank you and have fun Mypling!

Obviously, you would choose the higher rate to make sure you're not behind. There's no equality in this lol.

Anyways, if this is implemented, have fun guis.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. The rankings won't be even and it would show a bad effect. If you fall behind, you would just increase your exp rate whenever you feel like it.

but how would rankings be unfair. it goes by the level of the character in order of who got it first. The person would choose the exp rate at their own will

Who got it first will be different. It might not be fair/unfair to others but it will mess it up. It won't be accurate..

Matt has a good point, I could see someone being dumb enough to say "oh I got to 200 on x amount EXP rate in x amount of time" and no one would ever know if he was lying or not.

Perhaps a better solution would be something similar to when you first start off a character and your EXP rate is at certain amount until lvl 10, my idea is when you create a character and login with it, an NPC will talk to you giving you the option of which EXP rate to play at permanently, as for the rankings, just somehow add a new column for the EXP rate that character is playing at.

I know this sounds unlikely to do, but it sounds good in theory right?

I wouldn't suggest that because that could be a little too complicated.
Maybe we can just have 12x for certain levels and then lower the exp rate at let's say level 120. This will be caused for EVERYONE.

That sounds good, but there's always going to be that small group of people who will be unhappy with it.

1.Reach level 200 with x12 exp for rankings.
2.Make a character for fun with x1-x12 exp for fun.

or we could just do this. you first play normally on 12x. than when you get your first character to level 200 for all your other characters you decide your xp rate.

Why don't people just stay with this EXP rate. If they want lower, go to GMS.

And Matt, people would choose lower EXP rates on their own will, nobody's forcing them to. So how is that unfair?

I am not saying it's unfair now. okay? I am saying it will be unaccurate. Unless we do like different rankings. But who would join a server like that? I don't see many servers with like 5+ different rankings. It's too complicated.. And also for your different character choosing the exp rate is sort of stupid. You don't see many servers like that and why make it so complicated? Just keep it simple..

Yeah, I get what you mean now. Some people may want a challenge but that won't be accurate because some people will have 10x and some will have 12x. I don't see why people like these EXP rates. In a while, when you can cube and stuff, they'll get over it. Right now there's just nothing to do when you get 200 because you can't really boss that well.

Maple already became boring and pointless,back in the times you had a challenge and real adventure and this was adventure game,once you reached level 200 everyone celebrated and was happy,now when you reach level 200 no one gives a flying fuck because they can do it in a day.

ik. i remember back in 2006 in took me a week to get to level 30. my friend was level 70 DK and was treated like a god. getting to level 200 took months to years. now its no challenge. thats y i want something for them to do

It's not like this is a life Seena. Its just a game. Every game will get boring eventually. And also that's what events are for! Competition with others. And since we do it daily, it shouldn't be a problem.
