Dual Blade advancements?

I seem to be stuck as a Blade Recruit and can't move onto the next stage. I @myple'd and tried to advance jobs but it said there was no advancement for me, I also tried going to Kerning City and looking around there for some NPC to talk to but I'm not sure what to do. I'm currently level 22, my DEX and LUK are all just auto-applied. I can't even equip a proper weapon to use my skill attacks :c Anything I'm missing here that I'm supposed to do? I've never been a Dual Blade before so excuse my ignorance if it's just a silly mistake.

My Blade Recruit character is named Reds.

Dude you are level 22,the next job advancement is at level 30.The weapons you need to use is dagger and katara.I hope that answers all your questions c:

Oooh, because I wanted to start using a Katara and it said the req lvl was 20. It wouldn't let me equip it though because I didn't have an advancement :c So that kind of confused me. I dunno what's up with that.
