I am currently using Windows 8, I got everything set up already. Anti-viruses offed, fire-wall offed.
But then, I am getting the "Unable to connect to login server due to..." error.
Besides, I don't think the patcher patch itself from v1117 to v117.2

I may be wrong but I do not think windows 8 can run maplestory.

Windows 8 can run Maplestory but i have heard Privater servers dosnt work great on Windows 8 and have many problems... Etc.. Google this, You will find maybe something what helps you.

Nope, I did my researched 99% of the people say windows 8 does not work for maplestory. Except for some rare cases.

(GMS also, not just private servers)

Uhm. Anyone who has half a brain can run maplestory on windows 8. GMS runs perfectly fine for me, however this server does not. Broken game is broken. What a waste of 2 hours.

Maplestory works on Windows 8 since the late versions.Myplestory doesn't work on Windows 8.
