"Cannot Load Game Data!" Empty "Cannot Load Game Data!"

Whenever I try and install the client itself, I get an error message of "Cannot Load Game Data!" I've tried deleting the file, restarting, force closing all unneccisaray processes in my Ctrl+Alt+Delete menu. I've disabled my Anti-Virus, and several other things. My friend was able to install the game without any problems on his end. I even had him transfer the file to a thumb drive and bring it to me, I still got the same error. I'm currently operating Windows Vista Home Premium, with the most up-to-date Windows Updates. Has anyone run into this issue, or have any idea as to how I can fix it?
